EPL's Profit Dips Despite Strong Revenue Surge

In the December quarter, EPL Ltd announced a mixed financial report, characterized by robust revenue and EBITDA expansion alongside a decrease in net profit. Revenue experienced a notable increase of 13.3%, reaching ₹1,148 crore compared to ₹1,014 crore in the prior year.
EBITDA grew by 14.8% to ₹231 crore, with profit margins improving to 20.1% from 19.8%. Despite these gains, reported net profit fell 12.6% year-on-year to ₹81.7 crore. Excluding exceptional items, profit after tax grew by 11%, aligning with EBITDA performance.
Geographically, revenue growth was strong across most markets, with the Americas leading at 19% and EAP at 18%. The Beauty & Cosmetics segment continued its impressive trajectory, achieving 26.2% growth for the fourth consecutive quarter of over 20% expansion.
