EPACK Durable Profit Plummets 99.94%

EPACK Durable reported a severe drop in profitability for the quarter ending March 2026. The company's consolidated net profit collapsed by 99.94% year-on-year, reaching just Rs 0.02 crore, a stark contrast to Rs 37.72 crore in the previous year.

Revenue from operations saw an 8.11% decline, amounting to Rs 591.05 crore during the quarter. Profit before tax also fell significantly by 98.01% to Rs 1 crore. This downturn was largely influenced by a 24.7% year-on-year decrease in the Room Air Conditioner (RAC) segment, attributed to lower industry demand and delayed seasonal offtake.

Despite the challenges in the RAC segment, EPACK Durable witnessed positive momentum in its Small Domestic Appliances (SDA) and components businesses. The SDA segment grew by 32.1% YoY, driven by healthy order inflows for products like air fryers. The components segment also reported robust 50.1% YoY growth, supported by a strong pipeline for heat exchangers and other parts. The company added five new customers during the quarter, with supplies already commenced.

Margins were impacted by lower operating leverage in the RAC business and initial scaling costs. However, the company remains focused on improving operational efficiencies and scaling high-growth segments. EPACK Durable is optimistic about long-term growth, supported by its expanding product portfolio, upcoming capacity expansions, and new customer acquisitions. The company also recently received entitlement certificates from the Government of Rajasthan, providing incentives for its Bhiwadi manufacturing facility.
