Ekart, the logistics division of Flipkart Group, is broadening its reach by making its national delivery network available to external businesses. This strategic move aims to provide companies with access to the robust infrastructure that supports Flipkart's e-commerce operations.
The newly launched franchise model permits small businesses to utilize Ekart's extensive network for shipments, bypassing the need for their own logistics setup. This network, currently spanning over 300 outlets in key cities like Surat, Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru, is slated for significant expansion to over 1,000 outlets by the close of 2026.
Businesses can now leverage Ekart's over 1 million square feet of dedicated warehousing space for comprehensive fulfillment services. With capacity expansion underway in regions like Delhi-NCR and Mumbai, these facilities are designed to shorten delivery turnaround times. Advanced AI-powered demand forecasting is also integrated to help optimize inventory placement and distribution across India.
Ekart also caters to B2B clients with a specialized hub network for bulk and consolidated freight. This service includes features like Open Box Delivery and flexible Any Day Delivery, enhancing the customer experience for sectors ranging from automotive to FMCG.
