Avenue Supermarts, the retail giant behind DMart, has reported a significant financial uplift for the third quarter of fiscal year 2026. The company's net profit surged by 18.3%, reaching Rs 856 crore, a notable increase from the Rs 724 crore recorded in the prior year.
This profit growth was underpinned by a strong topline performance. Avenue Supermarts' revenue climbed by 13.3% to Rs 15,973 crore during the quarter. The company's operational efficiency also improved, as evidenced by a 20.2% increase in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA), which stood at Rs 1,463 crore.
Further demonstrating healthy performance, the company's profit margins expanded to 8.1% compared to 7.6% in the previous year. These results indicate a positive trajectory for Avenue Supermarts as it navigates the current fiscal period.
