Non-resident Indian (NRI) buyers were a major driving force, contributing Rs 5,250 crore, or 32.5%, to these sales. This represents a significant increase from previous years, where NRI contributions were around 5% to 16%.
DLF Home Developers MD and Chief Business Officer, Aakash Ohri, highlighted that the company's strong brand value, reliable service, and consistent capital appreciation are key factors attracting overseas buyers. He noted a shift towards buyers prioritizing project quality and developer credibility over speculative investments.
Recent projects like 'The Dahlias' in Gurugram have also seen strong demand from NRIs. DLF has developed over 352 million square feet and possesses significant development potential in both residential and commercial segments.
