The Walt Disney Company announced significant leadership changes in its communications department. Josh D'Amaro, the incoming CEO, has appointed Paul Roeder, a 25-year company veteran, to the position of Senior EVP and Chief Communications Officer. This promotion is effective March 19, with Roeder reporting directly to D'Amaro.

Roeder's tenure at Disney has been marked by significant contributions, including steering communications for major studio acquisitions like 21st Century Fox and Lucasfilm. He was also instrumental in the launch of Disney+ and the communications surrounding record-breaking films. His career at Disney began in 2001 with the ABC communications team, progressing through various roles in Corporate Communications.
