A highly anticipated new Din Tai Fung location is set to open its doors in Brea, California, on August 31, following a soft opening on August 7. This expansive 14,000-square-foot restaurant, located at 1401 Brea Mall Lane, will bring the internationally acclaimed chain's famous Taiwanese soup dumplings and other beloved dishes to Orange County diners. Founded in Taiwan in 1958, Din Tai Fung has grown to over 165 locations across 13 countries. The Brea restaurant will be the brand's fourth in Orange County and twelfth in California, reflecting its significant expansion in the state. The CEO of Din Tai Fung North America, Albert Yang, stated that Brea's strong community and retail environment made it an ideal choice for the new establishment. The opening is expected to generate hundreds of local job opportunities. Din Tai Fung is renowned for its "Golden Ratio" dumplings, a result of decades of culinary expertise. The restaurant chain, which began as a cooking oil business before becoming a dumpling and noodle shop in 1972, continues to be a family-owned business passed down through generations, earning Michelin recognition.

The new Brea Mall location promises an upscale dining experience, designed to blend modern architecture with the brand's signature cultural elegance.
