Kanaiya Thakker has been appointed as the group general counsel and head of legal at Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation Limited (DFPCL). This strategic hire brings extensive legal expertise to the company.

He has since held significant legal positions at various companies, including Syntel, HCL Technologies, Suzlon Energy, Asian Paints, UltraTech Cement, Ambuja Cements, and Adani Enterprises, where he served as Senior Vice President and Head of Legal.
