- Fourth-quarter results exceeded expectations due to strong demand.

DaVita, a provider of kidney dialysis services, announced its 2026 annual profit projection, significantly exceeding analyst estimates. This positive outlook follows the company's stronger-than-anticipated fourth-quarter financial performance, which saw its shares climb 13% in after-hours trading on February 2, 2026.
The Colorado-based company now forecasts its 2026 adjusted earnings per share to range from $13.60 to $15. This forecast surpasses the $12.65 per share expected by analysts, indicating renewed momentum for DaVita.
In the fourth quarter, DaVita reported adjusted earnings per share of $3.40, beating analyst expectations of $3.16. Quarterly revenue also exceeded forecasts, reaching $3.62 billion compared to the estimated $3.50 billion.
This robust performance was bolstered by higher reimbursement rates and a favorable shift in the mix and seasonal impact of flu vaccines. The company had previously navigated the repercussions of a ransomware attack in April, which disrupted operations and compromised personal data for 2.7 million individuals.
