Summary
- Cytek Biosciences reported 6% revenue growth in Q2 2026.
- US and China regions saw double-digit revenue gains.
- Europe and parts of Asia-Pacific experienced revenue weakness.

Cytek Biosciences announced its second-quarter 2026 financial results, reporting a 6% increase in revenue compared to the previous year. The company's total revenue for the quarter reached $48.1 million, up from $45.6 million in the same period of 2025.
CEO Wenbin Jiang highlighted that the revenue growth was significantly supported by double-digit gains in both the United States and China markets. This performance was further enhanced by the company's full spectrum profiling instrument portfolio and a growing service revenue stream.
In the United States, revenue surged by 18% year-over-year, achieving a record second-quarter high of $28.2 million. This expansion was attributed to increased instrument sales to academic and government clients, alongside growth in the service business.
Conversely, the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region experienced a revenue decline of approximately 8%, totaling $11.3 million. Management cited budgetary constraints linked to geopolitical factors and shifting government spending priorities, particularly in European research and development funding.
Total revenue from the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, including China, remained flat year-over-year at $7.9 million. While China demonstrated strong double-digit growth, this was counterbalanced by a downturn in other parts of the region. Purchasing activity in APAC outside of China saw a reduction following a strong first quarter.
