Cupid has demonstrated remarkable financial performance in the first quarter of FY27, with net profit skyrocketing by three times to Rs 44 crore. This surge was accompanied by a significant 159% year-on-year increase in revenue, which reached Rs 155 crore.
The company's EBITDA also saw substantial growth, rising 265% YoY to Rs 60 crore, with an improved EBITDA margin of 39%. This strong start to FY27 is attributed to healthy execution across its international B2B healthcare and domestic consumer healthcare and FMCG businesses.
Cupid has implemented a 10% price increase on its export portfolio, enhancing realisations and margins. The company has also raised its FY27 guidance, now projecting revenues between Rs 725-750 crore and net profits of Rs 210-225 crore.
Future growth is expected from substantial orders in its IVD Kits portfolio from state governments and significant international opportunities following CE certifications. The company's Chairman and Managing Director, Aditya Kumar Halwasiya, highlighted ongoing investments in manufacturing and product innovation.
