Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals announced a net loss of ₹533.9 crore for the fourth quarter of FY26. This financial outcome was largely influenced by a substantial ₹716 crore impairment charge connected to its Butterfly Gandhimathi business.
Despite the reported net loss, the company experienced revenue growth, with sales increasing by 10.8% year-on-year to reach ₹2,283.3 crore during the same quarter. Adjusted profit after tax, excluding exceptional items, was maintained at ₹172 crore.
For the fiscal year 2026, the board has proposed a dividend of ₹3 per equity share. Shareholders will vote on this recommendation at the annual general meeting scheduled for August 7, 2026.
Additionally, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals fully redeemed ₹300 crore of listed secured non-convertible debentures. This action has led to the release of the charge previously held over the "Crompton" and "Crompton Greaves" brands.
