Agri-solutions provider Coromandel International has formalized a partnership with the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) through a Memorandum of Understanding. This agreement establishes a Corporate Research Centre located at the IITM Research Park, designed to foster innovation in agricultural technology.
The newly established center will serve as a nexus for collaborative research initiatives, technology incubation programs, and professional development. It aims to harness the extensive innovation and technological infrastructure of the IIT Madras ecosystem, enhancing Coromandel's capabilities both within India and on a global scale.
The collaboration was announced during the inauguration of the IITM Global Research Foundation. Officials highlighted that this venture will expedite the translation of scientific discoveries into practical, scalable technologies, ultimately benefiting farmers, the agricultural industry, and the country's broader innovation agenda.
