Clean Science Reports Steep Decline in Q3 Profit

Clean Science and Technology Ltd. has reported a challenging third quarter, with significant declines across key financial metrics. The company announced its earnings on Saturday, January 31, revealing a 30% year-over-year decrease in net profit, which fell to ₹45.8 crore from ₹65.6 crore in the prior year.
Revenue for the quarter also experienced a contraction, dropping by 8.7% to ₹220 crore compared to ₹241 crore in the same period last year. Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation, and Amortisation (EBITDA) saw a 26.5% decline, coming in at ₹72.3 crore, down from ₹98.4 crore.
Reflecting on these results, the company's profit margins narrowed to 32.9% from 40.9% in the year-ago period. Despite the financial setbacks, Clean Science's board approved an interim dividend of ₹2 per equity share for the financial year 2026. The record date for this dividend has been fixed as February 6, with payments scheduled for Monday, February 23, 2026.
