China Sciences Ecorizon Tech Co Ltd (CSET) has acquired the Stiefel Group brand and its intellectual property, including advanced water-cooled waste incineration technology. This strategic acquisition aims to enhance CSET's capacity for developing and exporting integrated waste-to-energy solutions.
The acquired water-cooled technology offers superior efficiency for higher calorific value waste compared to traditional air-cooled systems. This move addresses critical technical challenges in China's evolving waste treatment sector and reduces reliance on overseas intellectual property.
CSET, a subsidiary of Chinese Academy of Sciences Holdings Co Ltd, intends to pivot from being primarily an investor and operator to a comprehensive green energy solutions provider. This new model will offer a complete package of technology, equipment, and services.
The Stiefel Group, a Swiss-based provider, brings over 50 years of experience, particularly in water-cooled technology introduced in 1988. CSET also gains access to international market relationships and project experience.
CSET's financial performance in 1H2026 showed significant growth, with revenue rising 36.05% to 1.15 billion yuan and net profit increasing 16.03% to 227.72 million yuan.
