On January 13, 2026, Ceigall India's board approved the formation of a new subsidiary, Ceigall Indore Ujjain Greenfield Highway. This SPV is established to undertake the construction of the Indore Ujjain Greenfield Highway project, which spans 48.10 kilometers. The project was awarded to the company by the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation.
The new highway will be a four-lane access-controlled road with paved shoulders. It is set to begin near Pitra Parvat at kilometer 0.000 and terminate at kilometer 48.100, including a 2.600 km section of the Simhastha bypass. The construction will follow the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) model.
This strategic move by Ceigall India signifies its commitment to infrastructure development in the region. The incorporation of a dedicated SPV is a standard practice for implementing large-scale projects, ensuring focused management and execution of the highway construction.
