C3 Metals Discovers Massive Copper Anomaly in Peru
19 Sep
Summary
- New surveys reveal large magnetic and gravity anomalies at Clacey project.
- The anomaly is 2 km northeast and potentially larger than the current drill area.
- Drilling is planned for the new anomaly in the fourth quarter of 2026.
New geophysical surveys at C3 Metals' Clacey project in Peru have identified substantial magnetic and gravity anomalies, indicating a significant copper exploration opportunity. These anomalies are crucial for understanding the full scale of the mineralization beneath a layer of glacial till.
The most exciting discovery is an anomaly approximately 2 kilometers to the northeast, which appears to be the same size or potentially larger than the main Clacey area that has been under drill evaluation for nearly a year. This feature is located within an expanded survey area, aiming to capture its complete extent.
C3 Metals is preparing to drill test this significant northeast anomaly in the fourth quarter of 2026. Concurrently, the company will continue expanding drilling at the known mineralized zone at Clacey, which extends from near surface to 500 meters vertical depth. Further exploration will also occur in Jamaica, with assay results expected from the Super Block project and a deep drill program commencing at Bellas Gate.
