Brazil has launched an innovative air travel pass, emulating Europe's popular interrail train system, to enhance domestic tourism. The Azul Brazil Air Pass allows travelers to explore multiple cities within the country for a single, fixed price. This new offering aims to make Brazil's diverse destinations more accessible and appealing to both domestic and international visitors.
The pass provides flexible options to suit different travel needs. For $499, travelers can visit up to six destinations over 15 days. A 30-day pass covering up to eight destinations is available from $599. Additionally, GOL Airlines offers a 90-day option for up to nine flights starting at $525, fostering extended exploration.
This initiative, developed in collaboration with Visit Brasil, is timed to capitalize on the recent rise in travel to the nation. Rio de Janeiro, for instance, reported a record 12.5 million tourists in 2025. The pass's flexibility and predictable pricing are expected to attract a significant number of tourists eager to experience Brazil's rich cultural and natural offerings at their own pace.
