Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has been awarded a Limited Notice to Proceed (LNTP) exceeding Rs 90 crore by Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC). This significant contract is for the 1x800 MW Durgapur Supercritical Thermal Power Station project.
The company emerged as the successful bidder for the main plant package, which includes the boiler, turbine, and generator (BTG). The LNTP allows BHEL to commence advance engineering work and procure essential long-lead items.
