Defence Orders Bolster Bharat Forge Q3 Performance

Bharat Forge Ltd. (BFL) reported robust sequential growth for the quarter ending December 31, 2025. This performance was primarily fueled by a strong domestic automotive business and the successful execution of its defence order book. Revenue saw a 7% quarter-on-quarter increase to ₹2,084 crore, with EBITDA rising to ₹569 crore.
The company secured new orders valued at ₹2,388 crore during the quarter, notably ₹1,878 crore in the defence sector. This significantly bolstered its defence order book, which stood at ₹11,130 crore as of December 31, 2025. A key development was the signing of a CQB Carbine contract for over 2,50,000 units.
Export revenues experienced a sequential decline of 3%, impacted by a 13% decrease in the auto segment, though industrial exports grew by 11%. Subsidiaries like JS Autocast showed year-on-year growth in revenue and EBITDA. Looking ahead, BFL anticipates strong double-digit top-line growth in the upcoming fiscal year.
