Santander's customer base also experienced significant growth, with more than seven million new customers added over the past 12 months, bringing the total to 178 million.
Analysts remain bullish on Santander, with RBC Capital recently upgrading the stock's price target to €8.50 from €7.50, while maintaining a Sector Perform rating. The bank's ability to adapt to the changing financial landscape and deliver consistent, record-breaking results has made it an attractive investment opportunity for many.
