Summary
- Ball Corporation investing $60 million in Sri City manufacturing facility
- Follows $55 million investment in Taloja, Maharashtra in 2024
- Expanding to meet growing demand for sustainable aluminum packaging in India

Ball Corporation, a global leader in sustainable aluminum packaging solutions, has revealed plans to invest $60 million in its manufacturing facility located in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, near the border with Tamil Nadu. This investment follows the company's $55 million commitment to its Taloja can manufacturing facility in Maharashtra in 2024.
Mandy Glew, President of Ball Beverage Packaging EMEA and Asia, stated that India is a key market in Ball's global strategy, and this latest investment reflects the company's focused approach to scaling operations in high-growth regions and securing long-term competitive advantage. Glew noted that as consumer demand shifts toward more sustainable and convenient packaging formats, new product categories, particularly in the dairy segment, are gaining momentum, with ready-to-drink (RTD) beverages and milk-based drinks increasingly turning to aluminum as the preferred solution for modern dairy packaging.
