Revenue for the period grew by 15.9%, reaching Rs 1,578 crore compared to Rs 1,361 crore in the same quarter last year. Despite a slight decrease in Ebitda margin to 18% from 21.7%, the overall profit growth was robust.
The company's Chief Financial Officer expressed optimism regarding the recovery of its UK business, which has underperformed over the past two years. He anticipates that technological contributions from the UK operations will bolster India's performance.
Astral maintains its volume growth guidance of 10%-15% for FY27, with recent months showing strong volume increases. The company is also benefiting from stabilizing polymer prices and the successful performance of its new manufacturing units, including the Hyderabad facility.
