Vendor Returns Tariffs to PC Builders
4 Aug
Summary
- PC component vendor Arctic is passing tariff refunds to US consumers.
- Discounts are available on Amazon and eBay, slashing prices on products.
- Supreme Court invalidated tariffs, sparking a refund process for companies.

German vendor Arctic is actively returning funds from voided tariffs to its US customers through a dedicated sales promotion. Following the Supreme Court's February invalidation of most Trump-era tariffs, a refund process has begun, returning billions to affected companies.
Arctic announced on July 23 that it would pass these recovered funds back to the market. The company is offering across-the-board retail price cuts on its official Amazon and eBay stores. Notably, the Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 A-RGB is now priced at $76.99, down from $92.99, and Arctic Xtender Black PC cases are reduced to $119 from $219.
Arctic had previously absorbed some tariff costs but adjusted prices on a limited number of US products, promising to reverse increases if circumstances allowed. The vendor is now fulfilling this pledge by investing every recovered dollar into retail price reductions until the full refund amount is disbursed. When direct refunds to consumers are not feasible, Arctic commits to supporting US technology education and grassroots PC communities through hardware donations and technical aid.
