17 Mar
Summary
- Amazon now offers one-hour and three-hour delivery options.
- Over 90,000 items are available for these new delivery services.
- Subscription fees vary for Prime members and non-members.

Amazon is expanding its delivery services by introducing one-hour and three-hour delivery options across many U.S. cities. This strategic move aims to rival companies specializing in instant delivery. Customers will find over 90,000 items eligible for these faster delivery windows, clearly marked within the Amazon app and website.
For Amazon Prime members, one-hour delivery costs $9.99, and three-hour delivery is $4.99. Non-Prime members will incur higher charges of $19.99 for one-hour and $14.99 for three-hour deliveries. The one-hour service is available in hundreds of cities, including major metropolitan areas and smaller towns, while the three-hour option extends to over 2,000 U.S. locations.
Utilizing existing same-day fulfillment sites, Amazon seeks to simplify customers' lives and add value for Prime members. This initiative follows past attempts at rapid delivery, such as the discontinued Prime Now service and recent pilots in select cities. Internationally, Amazon has launched similar rapid delivery services in India and the United Arab Emirates.
