Experts suggest Amazon's lower wage scale compared to competitors makes such operations economically viable in the U.S.
Globally, Amazon's micromobility efforts, including e-cargo mopeds and pushcarts, delivered 170 million packages in 2024, an increase from 125 million in 2023. The company operates 70 micromobility hubs in over 45 cities worldwide, demonstrating a commitment to greener delivery solutions.
