Airbus Rushes Deliveries to Meet 790 Aircraft Target

Airbus is in a determined push to meet its revised aircraft delivery target of approximately 790 aircraft for the current year. This accelerated effort comes after the company had to lower its projections earlier this month, a move attributed to technical issues found in its best-selling A320 model. These issues included a significant software recall and the discovery of fuselage panels that did not meet required specifications.

The planemaker's current objective requires delivering about 133 jets in December, a volume nearly double that of November. Reports indicate that Airbus is producing aircraft at a remarkable pace in the closing weeks of the year, a ferocity described as unprecedented. Management is reportedly confident that the goal will be achieved, with no indications of further reductions needed.
