Aehr Systems Surges on AI Demand, Revenue Poised for Massive Growth
15 Jul
Summary
- Aehr Test Systems expects revenue to more than double by fiscal year 2027.
- Demand for AI processors and data center infrastructure drives company growth.
- Company backlog reached a record $80.6 million, significantly up from last year.

Aehr Test Systems is entering fiscal year 2027 with a record backlog and ambitious revenue projections, expecting more than double its current figures. This significant growth is primarily attributed to escalating demand from the artificial intelligence, silicon photonics, and data center infrastructure sectors.
During its fiscal fourth quarter, Aehr Test Systems reported bookings of $60.7 million, a substantial increase from the previous year. The company's year-end backlog hit a new record of $80.6 million. Additional bookings received shortly after year-end have boosted the "effective backlog" to approximately $100.6 million.
Company leadership highlighted a strategic shift, noting that while over 95% of their business was tied to silicon carbide for electric vehicles just two years ago, nearly 95% of their fiscal year 2026 revenue now stems from non-EV silicon carbide markets. This diversification supports their impressive outlook for fiscal year 2027, with revenue guidance ranging from $130 million to $150 million, representing an estimated 160% to 200% year-over-year increase.
