In a groundbreaking move, Abundantia Entertainment, led by Vikram Malhotra, has announced the launch of its AI production division, Abundantia aiOn. The new unit aims to create films, series, characters, and entire worlds by "combining world-class creative talent with cutting-edge AI platforms and tools across ideation, world-building, visual development, and production."
Abundantia's bold mission is to use technology to unlock human creativity and imagination, with the firm belief that AI can empower creators and act as a creative accelerator, rather than replace them. The division will focus on upskilling writers, artists, and filmmakers in next-generation storytelling techniques, "creating new roles instead of displacing them."
The first slate of projects from Abundantia's AI division is set to be announced soon, and the company has already revealed its partnership with Collective Artists Network to produce the AI-powered feature film 'Chiranjeevi Hanuman - The Eternal', which is scheduled for a theatrical release in 2026.
Malhotra, the founder and CEO of Abundantia, emphasizes that AI is not here to replace creativity, but to magnify it. "We see AI as the ultimate collaborator and a creative ally that empowers human imagination," he states. Abundantia's AI division will operate on the philosophy of "Human First, AI Empowered," aiming to explore how artificial intelligence can enhance the storytelling process.
