13 Jun
Summary
- Aavin denies discontinuing its popular Green Magic milk brand.
- Distribution of all Aavin milk varieties remains normal.
- Consumers are urged not to believe false reports about supply cuts.

State-owned Aavin has issued a clarification on Saturday, vehemently denying reports that its popular Green Magic milk brand has been discontinued. The dairy cooperative assured the public that the distribution of all its milk varieties is proceeding normally and that no substantial supply cuts have been implemented.
Recent media reports had suggested a reduction in Green Magic's supply, allegedly due to low procurement, potentially forcing consumers to opt for more expensive private milk brands. However, Aavin has explicitly labeled these claims as false, reiterating that Green Magic remains available without interruption to satisfy consumer demand.
The price for a 225 ml packet of Green Magic is Rs 11, with a 500 ml pack costing Rs 22, according to Aavin's website. The dairy emphasized that members of the public should not be misled by incorrect reports circulating about its milk supply chain.
