Summary
- Wychavon District Council has approved plans for 100 new homes.
- The new housing estate will be built in Droitwich.
- All 100 homes will be designated as affordable housing.

Plans for a new housing development consisting of 100 homes in Droitwich, Worcestershire, have received final approval from Wychavon District Council. The site for this new estate is situated on fields located between Tagwell Road and the M5 motorway.
Bromford Housing Association, the developer behind the project, has confirmed that all 100 residences will be categorized as affordable housing. This designation aims to address housing needs within the community by providing accessible living options for residents.
While outline permission for the development was initially secured in 2020 following an appeal, the more detailed plans have now been formally signed off by the district council. The decision comes despite objections raised by some local residents regarding the proposal.
