Manappuram Finance has announced a substantial profit of ₹404.79 crore for the fourth quarter of FY26. This marks a significant turnaround from the same period in the previous year, when the company registered a loss of ₹203.17 crore.
The company's total revenue from operations for the January-March period stood at ₹2,613.83 crore, reflecting a 10% year-on-year increase. This growth was largely propelled by a remarkable surge in its gold loan segment.
During the quarter, gold loans saw a more than two-fold jump, soaring to ₹2331 crore compared to ₹990.43 crore in the corresponding period last year. This growth is attributed to the sharp rise in gold prices.
Conversely, the microfinance segment experienced a significant decline in revenue, dropping to ₹294 crore from ₹1372 crore year-on-year. Despite this, the company's overall financial performance showcases resilience and growth opportunities.
Manappuram Finance's stock has performed exceptionally well, increasing by 32% over the past year, which is considerably higher than the BSE Sensex's 4% decline. Over two and three years, the stock has yielded 55% and 156% returns, respectively.
