The project has already seen 118 km of work completed, including key stretches like Kazipet-Warangal and Dornakal-Errupalem. The investment in these completed sections alone exceeds ₹1,200 crore, with the total cost surpassing ₹1,243 crore.
Upon full completion, the upgraded corridor is expected to significantly decongest one of India's busiest railway lines. This enhancement will lead to faster travel times, improved train punctuality, and a notable boost in freight movement, supporting trade and economic growth.
