Veteran Actor Madhavan Unfazed by Lack of Awards, Focuses on Staying Relevant

In a recent interview, veteran Bollywood and Tamil cinema actor R Madhavan reflected on his long and successful career, which has spanned over four decades. Despite not receiving as much recognition or awards as some of his peers, Madhavan remains unfazed, stating that the fact that he is still relevant and working in the industry is the true reward for him.

Madhavan, who was recently seen in the Netflix series "Aap Jaisa Koi," discussed his versatility as an actor, showcasing his ability to portray a wide range of characters, from the evil villain in "Shaitaan" to the benevolent, nerdy protagonist in "Aap Jaisa Koi." He emphasized that he is not concerned about how his fans will react to his roles, as long as he is sincere to the character and puts his heart and soul into the performance.

The actor also spoke about the importance of staying fit and healthy, crediting his disciplined lifestyle and positive attitude for his longevity in the industry. Madhavan expressed pride in his son Vedaant's success as a swimmer, stating that he never expected his son to follow in his footsteps, as he himself did not pursue his father's profession.
