Varun Badola's Alcohol-Themed Roles Captivate Audiences

Badola played the role of Krish's (Ahaan Panday) alcoholic father, and their emotional scenes had audiences in tears. Interestingly, Badola is now set to play a similar role in his upcoming TV show 'Itti Si Khushi', a coincidence that has even left the actor stumped.

Speaking exclusively, Badola joked that perhaps his stars are favoring alcohol-themed roles this season. He revealed that his TV show makers had no prior knowledge of his film role, and the similarity happened organically. Saiyaara, the Yash Raj Films-backed project, has already crossed the ₹500 crore mark globally and is still running in packed theaters.

While Badola admitted he is yet to watch the film, his family loved it and felt he should have had more screen time. The actor, however, stated that he was aware of the limited nature of his part and was simply glad to be a part of a Yash Raj production. Badola also discussed the success of the film, noting that no one had expected it to perform so well, given the lack of big-name stars.
