Vanessa Kirby Shines in Gritty Netflix Neo-Noir 'Night Always Comes'

On the night of August 14, 2025, Vanessa Kirby stars as Lynette, a woman living in Portland, Oregon with her developmentally disabled brother and unreliable mother. Amid soaring housing prices and a struggling economy, Lynette is desperately trying to buy their dilapidated family home to provide stability for her brother.

When Lynette's mother reneges on a deal to help with the downpayment, Lynette sets out on a harrowing overnight odyssey to raise the $25,000 needed by the next morning. She resorts to increasingly risky measures, including theft and encounters with dangerous figures from her past, all while juggling multiple jobs and caring for her brother.

Meanwhile, in a separate storyline, Pamela Anderson steals the spotlight in the uneven legacy sequel 'The Naked Gun'. The film sees Liam Neeson nailing the deadpan goofiness, but Anderson's performance is the true scene-stealer.
