Triptii Dimri Aspires to Portray Legendary Actresses Meena Kumari or Madhubala

As of August 21st, 2025, rising Bollywood star Triptii Dimri has revealed her aspiration to play the iconic actresses Meena Kumari or Madhubala in their respective biopics. In a recent press conference, Dimri expressed her deep admiration for these legendary figures, stating that "if someone makes a biopic on either of them, I would love to be a part of it. They were legends, icons - and portraying them would be an honor."

Dimri, known for her versatile performances in films like Laila Majnu, Qala, and Bulbbul, as well as the recently released Dhadak 2, has carved a niche for herself as an anti-formula face in the industry. Considering her filmography and the evolution of Hindi cinema, industry experts believe Dimri has reached a point in her career where she can be trusted to take on the challenge of playing Meena Kumari or Madhubala.

While acknowledging the immense pressure that comes with such roles, Dimri remains undaunted. "Honestly, when you're acting, there's so much pressure in the moment. It's not like someone else's face comes into your mind - you're just reacting to your co-actor, your lines, your scene. Still, playing either of them would be such a learning experience," she added.
