In a collaboration that blends Hollywood and horology, Timex has unveiled a limited-edition Superman-themed watch co-created with director James Gunn. The Timex x Superman Marlin Jet Automatic, priced at $369, features a 38mm stainless steel case with a bold blue dial emblazoned with the iconic S-Shield.
Only 1,000 units of this special timepiece have been produced, each with a removable vegan leather strap, 21-jewel Japanese automatic movement, and a mineral glass exhibition back etched with Gunn's signature. The watch's design nods to Timex's vintage Space Age-inspired aesthetic, offering a modern twist on the brand's classic Marlin silhouette.
Separately, Gunn's recent Superman film has soared past $600 million at the global box office and is now available for digital purchase and rental. The superhero blockbuster, starring David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, and Nicholas Hoult, is expected to land on HBO Max later this fall, setting the stage for the upcoming second season of Gunn's Peacemaker series.
