During a recent interview, 'Superman' actor David Corenswet shared a hilarious behind-the-scenes story from the set of the upcoming superhero film. Corenswet, who plays the titular Man of Steel, recounted an incident where he sustained a painful bruise on his right testicle while filming an "epic" flying scene.
Corenswet explained that the scene involved him being pulled through the air by a harness, which led to the unfortunate injury. "There's footage from filming of me getting pulled through the air," he said. "It's this wonderful epic moment. It's in the trailer, the beginning of it, where I stand up and punch the glass out and then I leap out the window and fly through the air. And on the first take of that, it's this big epic punch and a leap through the air, and then just, 'My testicle!'"
Corenswet's co-star, Nicholas Hoult, who plays the villainous Lex Luthor, found the story hilarious, joking that he wanted to ask more questions about Corenswet's testicles, but didn't know where to go with that line of questioning appropriately.
