Superman Actor Juggles Superhero Role and Fatherhood

David Corenswet, the 32-year-old actor who now dons the iconic cape in James Gunn's 'Superman,' is proving that heroism is not just for the big screen. In a recent interview, Corenswet opened up about handling his demanding film schedule while being a hands-on father to his one-year-old daughter, whom he shares with his wife Julia Warner.

Corenswet's co-star, Nicholas Hoult, who plays Lex Luthor in the film, shared a touching anecdote that captured Corenswet's commitment to fatherhood. Hoult recalled seeing Corenswet, in full Superman costume, pushing a stroller between takes on set, demonstrating his ability to balance his superhero duties and family responsibilities.

Corenswet humbly deflected praise, emphasizing that his wife deserves the credit for managing the household while he was away filming. However, he noted that when he returned home, he was eager to be helpful and involved, stating that it's "good Superman energy" to spend the day fighting bad guys and then come home to change diapers.
