In a highly anticipated event, two of Apple TV+'s most celebrated creative talents are set to unite for a live taping of the popular Happy Sad Confused podcast. Severance executive producer and director Ben Stiller and The Studio co-creator and star Seth Rogen will take the stage together on August 15th at the Fine Arts Theatre in Beverly Hills.
Both Stiller and Rogen have enjoyed decades-long careers in the entertainment industry, but they are currently experiencing a remarkable season of critical acclaim. Severance, the cerebral and inventive TV drama, recently earned 27 Emmy nominations for its second season, the most of any show this year. Meanwhile, The Studio, a fresh and insightful comedy series, has received 23 Emmy nominations, the most ever for a freshman comedy.
Podcast host Josh Horowitz, known for his in-depth, career-spanning conversations, is thrilled to bring these two innovative storytellers together. "Ben and Seth are two of the most innovative storytellers working today, each shaping and redefining the entertainment landscape in completely different ways," Horowitz said. "To have them share the same stage -- at a moment when their work is being celebrated at the highest level -- is exactly the kind of conversation Happy Sad Confused was made for."
