This came after the two had previously worked together on the cult classic Freaks and Geeks. According to Rogen, Philipps was instrumental in getting him the Dawson's Creek gig, as she advocated for him while they were shooting another show, Undeclared.

Now, over 20 years later, Rogen's career has skyrocketed, and he finds himself nominated for a whopping 23 Emmys this year for his Apple TV+ comedy The Studio.
