- 'Saiyaara' earns Rs 217.25 crore in just 9 days
- Film on track to challenge Rs 300 crore mark
- Surpasses industry expectations, now 2nd highest-grossing film of 2025

Mohit Suri's latest release, 'Saiyaara', has achieved a remarkable milestone by joining the exclusive Rs 200 crore club in record time. The romantic drama, which marks the debut of actors Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, has managed to garner an impressive Rs 217.25 crore in its India net collection within just nine days, according to early estimates.
The film's remarkable performance has not only exceeded industry expectations but has also positioned it as a serious contender for the coveted Rs 300 crore mark, a feat only Vicky Kaushal's 'Chhaava' has achieved so far in 2025. On its second Saturday, 'Saiyaara' earned an estimated Rs 26.5 crore, witnessing a nearly 50% jump from its second Friday collection of Rs 18 crore, further solidifying its box office dominance.
With these latest figures, 'Saiyaara' has now officially overtaken Akshay Kumar's 'Housefull 5' to become the second highest-grossing film of the year, trailing only behind 'Chhaava', which has a staggering Rs 601 crore collection. The film's impressive growth at the ticket windows is believed to be credited to the recent addition in screen count, which has been increased from the original 2,225 screens to 3,650 screens across India.
