Rana Daggubati Joins Sivakarthikeyan in Upcoming Tamil Drama 'Parasakthi'

The Tamil film industry is eagerly awaiting the release of 'Parasakthi', an upcoming drama directed by Sudha Kongara. The film, which takes its title from the landmark 1952 movie starring Sivaji Ganesan, has now added a significant new cast member - popular Telugu actor Rana Daggubati.

In a recent video, Rana Daggubati was seen on the set of 'Parasakthi', walking around with a stylish presence that has generated excitement among fans. This confirms that the 'Baahubali' star will be playing a lead role in the film, marking his return to Tamil cinema after previously essaying a villain role in Rajinikanth's 'Vettaiyan'.

Alongside Sivakarthikeyan in the lead, 'Parasakthi' also features Sreleela, Ravi Mohan, and Atharvaa in pivotal roles. The film is set in the 1960s and will tackle the issue of Hindi imposition that affected South Indian states during that period, promising a powerful social and political narrative.
