Rajinikanth's Coolie Breaks Box Office Records Ahead of Release

On August 14, 2025, the highly anticipated film Coolie, starring Rajinikanth, is set to hit the screens. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film will clash with YRF's spy thriller War 2, starring Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan.

The film also features other prominent actors, including Nagarjuna Akkineni, who reportedly earned Rs 10 crore, Shruti Haasan with a paycheck of Rs 4 crore, and veteran actors Sathyaraj and Upendra, both receiving Rs 5 crore. Soubin Shahir, making his Tamil debut, was paid a respectable Rs 1 crore.

Behind the camera, director Lokesh Kanagaraj, known for his blockbuster hits, commands a remarkable Rs 50 crore for helming Coolie, marking a significant milestone in his career.
