In a text message to a friend, Perry explained the injury, saying, "It was a slide on my knees mome[nt] that usually makes them go ahhh and it just made me go arghh." Despite the minor setback, Perry's tour has been a high-energy affair, with costume changes, flying, and plenty of dancing with her devoted fans.
The Lifetimes Tour, which kicked off in April 2025, has taken Perry across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. After a series of American dates, she is set to head to South America and Europe before wrapping up the tour on December 7th. Perry has promised that the show will be "full of BPM (beats per minute)" and has encouraged fans to wear sensible shoes and stay hydrated, as they'll be "dancing the night away."
