Padma Shri Awardees Kumar Sanu and Madhushree Reunite for Romantic Rain Song

In September 2025, legendary singers Kumar Sanu and Madhushree have reunited to release a new soulful monsoon romance song titled "Barishe Teri". The track, composed by Robby Badal with lyrics by Atif Rashid, was officially launched by acclaimed director Anil Sharma and Oma The Akk.

Sanu, a Padma Shri awardee, expressed his instant love for the song's tune and lyrics when Madhushree first sang it to him over the phone. Madhushree, an acclaimed singer herself, shared that Sanu has been an important mentor figure in her life, inspiring her to become a playback singer. She considers singing with him a "blessing".

Director Anil Sharma, who has worked with Sanu before, praised the song's refreshing touch and Madhushree's sweet, magical vocals that captivate the listener. He believes the monsoon-themed romantic track fully immerses the audience in its melody.
