As of August 5th, 2025, the first season of Netflix's 'Wednesday' has captivated audiences with its supernatural twists and turns. The series follows the young Addams family member as she enrolls at the Nevermore Academy, a school for outcasts with special abilities.
Upon arriving at Nevermore, Wednesday begins experiencing visions that foretell deadly events. Her premonitions include the deaths of an apple farmer and a student named Rowan, as well as a mysterious book, a fire in the Nevermore Quad, and a connection to the school's founder, Joseph Crackstone.
Wednesday's investigation leads her to uncover a secret society called the Nightshades, of which her own mother was a member. The group is linked to the killings, and Wednesday suspects her classmate Xavier, an "Unknown" with visions of his own, may be the Hyde responsible for the murders.

However, the true culprit turns out to be Tyler, a Normie (non-outcast) who has inherited the Hyde condition from his mother, a former Nevermore student. Tyler's master is revealed to be Laurel Gates, the presumed-dead sister of a former Nevermore student. Laurel's sinister plan involves resurrecting Crackstone using Wednesday's DNA, but the Addams family ancestor, Goody Addams, helps Wednesday defeat the villain.
As Wednesday departs Nevermore at the end of the semester, she receives disturbing texts from an unknown stalker, hinting at more mysteries to come in the next season.
