NCIS Alums Weatherly and de Pablo Reunite for Steamy Spinoff

Paramount+ is set to premiere an NCIS spinoff that reunites former co-stars Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo as their beloved characters, Tony and Ziva. The two actors, who last appeared together on NCIS in 2013, are now raising their daughter Tali in Paris, though not necessarily as a couple.
The spinoff's trailer has teased some heated moments between the pair, including a passionate embrace and a dress slipping to the floor. Despite the potential for TV-MA content, de Pablo declined the use of an intimacy coordinator, citing the trust and rapport she and Weatherly have built over the years.
"Michael and I have a lot of trust with each other and are great friends," de Pablo explained. "So, when it comes to shooting these things, we don't want to be micromanaged. We like to explore it, and we trust each other enough that we allow that to happen."
The NCIS: Tony & Ziva spinoff is set to debut on Paramount+ on September 4, with the first three episodes available at launch.
