The evening also saw the presentation of the Imagen President's Award to internationally renowned composer and music director of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Gustavo Dudamel, in recognition of his musical contributions and his role in inspiring the Youth Orchestra Los Angeles, which provides free instruments, music training, and academic support to students from low-income communities.
Additionally, writer, producer, and showrunner Dailyn Rodriguez, known for her work on shows like Ugly Betty, The Glades, and Queen of the South, received the organization's Norman Lear Writer's Award, named in honor of the legendary TV producer and Imagen co-founder.
